MTSU Student Voting Rates
Tracking Civic Engagement on Campus
Middle Tennessee State University is proud to participate in the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE)—a nationwide initiative that measures college student voter registration and turnout. NSLVE is managed by CIRCLE at the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University, and includes more than 600 colleges and universities committed to strengthening democracy through education and action.
Want to see how MTSU students vote? Check out our campus voting data for 2014 and 2018.
These reports show the percentage of MTSU students eligible to vote and those who actually voted in the 2014 and 2018 federal elections. The data is based on official enrollment records submitted to the National Student Clearinghouse and public voter files collected by Catalist, a leading voter analytics firm.
By participating in NSLVE, MTSU demonstrates its commitment to student civic engagement and using data to inform and improve our campus’s approach to democratic participation.

Collaborate with Us
We welcome opportunities to share insights and collaborate with other Tennessee colleges and universities. Let’s work together to empower a new generation of informed voters.
